BESTbelt Conferences are coming up!

The season of this year's BESTbelt Conferences has begun. We look forward to meeting you in person and online to network, share experiences and exchange views on the European Green Belt.

BESTbelt is an enormous project – firstly, because it is dedicated to the fantastic cause to protect and restore unique and highly valuable habitats along the European Green Belt, but secondly also because the project covers the enormous distance of 12,500 km that the European Green Belt stretches across Europe!

The BESTbelt Conferences are therefore an important opportunity for the European Green Belt community to reconnect, make new contacts and exchange views on common issues. Also other interested organisation beyond BESTbelt are invited to participate during the conferences!

 

This year's Conference season kicks off with the Balkan Regional Conference, which will take place in Bulgaria from 13-16 May 2024. During the conference there will be time to discuss and exchange about the projects along the Balkan Green Belt and experience some of them during an excursion day. 

This will be followed by the Regional Conference for the Central European Green Belt which will take place online on 26 June 2024 (10:00 - 15:30). 

The dates for the Fennoscandian and Baltic European Green Belt Regional Conferences are still to be confirmed and will be announced in due course. 

 

After the Regional Conferences, we will have the opportunity to meet again during the BESTbelt Pan-European Conference from 14 to 18 October 2024 in Jurmala, Latvia.
