With over 20 participants from 8 different countries along the European Green Belt, the first training on “European Green Belt Youth Work Camps” was a great success. During the online training, the participants heard about different best practice examples on Youth Work Camps and had the opportunity to exchange on experiences and challenges during different workgroup sessions.

As follow-up to this webinar, the BESTbelt project is now offering an additional training over two half days for all interested organisations along the European Green Belt. The aim of the training is to increase knowledge about Youth Work Camps in conservation and the opportunities “European Green Belt Youth Work Camps” provide.

“European Green Belt Youth Work Camps” are a great opportunity to get the young generation engaged in conservation and restoration practice and to raise awareness for the cultural-historical dimensions of the European Green Belt. Youth Camps are also an excellent opportunity to bring young people from different countries together and to stimulate cross-border exchange. For organisations that plan to organise an “European Green Belt Youth Work Camp”, the 3rd BESTbelt Call for Proposals offers a great opportunity to fund such an initiative.
