Mentoring for Effective Nature Conservation (MENC) programme – open for applications!
Nine-month mentoring programme will start in January 2025, offering the opportunity to develop professional skills, expand networks and transform working relationships in the conservation sector.
Successful conservation project management requires tools for effective concept development and implementation. In addition to the technical side of project management, there is ample space and room for personal development, which strengthens one's own work routines, skills, motivation and work-life balance.
The 9-month Mentoring for Effective Nature Conservation (MENC) programme, organised by EuroNatur, starts in January 2025 and is aimed at nature conservation professionals who want to develop their skills, expand their networks and change their relationship with themselves and their colleagues. This can be higly relevant and interesting to the many organizations working along the European Green Belt.
Why participate?
As a mentee: Receive one-to-one support from a mentor, gain valuable experience and develop skills to reflect, build confidence and improve self-awareness.
As a mentor: Share your knowledge, learn new perspectives and gain skills that will enhance your leadership and resilience.
Who can apply?
For mentees
- Staff of conservation organisations from across Europe and the Mediterranean (other applications may be considered)
- Staff members who have been with their organisation for at least one year

We're currently looking for both mentors and mentees to join the programme. If this sounds like something you could benefit from - or if you know someone who could - now's the time to apply! Let's build a strong and effective network across the nature conservation sector!
