“Stop draining Wetlands!” - on the occasion of the World Wetlands Day 2019 the 20th International Hike at Mura river at the border between Austria and Slovenia will take place on 3 February 2019.
NAŠA MURA-UNSERE MUR invites you on a guided tour along the Mura River at the border between Austria and Slovenia on Sunday, 3 February 2019. The hike starts in Bad Radkersburg, Center and is 10 km long. Snacks (regular or vegetarian) and hot drinks will be available. Good walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing are recommended. Please form driving communities to the assembly station. You also can come by train to Bad Radkersburg. Contribution 8 EUR registration.

The World Wetlands Day takes place on 2 February each year to raise global awareness about the vital role of wetlands for people and our planet. This day also marks the date of the adoption of the Convention on Wetlands on 2 February 1971, in the Iranian city of Ramsar on the shores of the Caspian Sea.
